Information this site collects
This directory has no account registration, health intake, newsletter form, or advertising pixels. Standard hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses, browser information, requested URLs, and timestamps for security and delivery.
Optional Google Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand visits to our public research pages and clicks on provider links outside the quiz. Google receives the page address and title, a limited referring-site category, browser and device information, and cookie-based identifiers. We strip query strings and fragments from reported page addresses. Provider-click events identify the provider, not the full destination URL. Google processes connection information, including your IP address, to provide the service.
Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose “Allow analytics.” Declining does not affect your use of the directory. We do not enable advertising personalization, Google signals, user-provided data collection, or cross-site tracking with provider websites. Your choices and cookies
Use “Analytics choices” in the footer to allow or stop future analytics collection. We remember only that choice on this device for up to 180 days. If allowed, Analytics uses first-party cookies with a configured 30-day lifetime. Withdrawing permission disables future collection and removes this site’s Analytics cookies; it does not erase data already received by Google. Blocking browser storage may mean you are asked again on another page.
Quiz privacy
Quiz answers and medication preferences stay in the current page’s memory. They are not saved, sent to Google Analytics, or included in provider-link events. Refreshing the page clears them. This site does not collect patient records or medical histories.
Outbound links
When you follow a provider link, that provider’s privacy practices apply. Some links contain referral and campaign parameters that identify this site as the referring source.
If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send. Do not send health information. We use correspondence to respond to the request and maintain ordinary business records.
